Anne Brown

Company Accountant

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]We’re delighted to have Anne on the team as Volpa’s in-house number cruncher. A chartered Management Accountant, Anne’s cut her teeth working for Trainline.com and Investors in People Scotland, among other companies. Her background in commercial roles is a great asset to Volpa, and Anne is looking forward to becoming our go-to support for anything financial, streamlining processes and freeing up our team to focus on their own strengths.

At home, Anne has two small children to be proud of – although she admits they are often a challenge and is waiting to see how they turn out in 16 years – before she lists them as achievements! She’s not afraid of challenging work, however, having studied hard for many years to pass her CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) qualifications, on top of working full time.

Spending time with family would be a big part of Anne’s perfect day off, starting with a long lie and then squeezing in bit of exercise, a family bike ride or visit to the beach and ending with a pub dinner with the kids. If there’s a babysitter available, she’d love to go to a ‘fancier’ restaurant with her hubby, and enjoy the chance to get dressed up and make use of her expanding collection of shoes and handbags.

Love of a great outfit no doubt influenced Anne’s decision to give up her space in the Scottish Championships 100m sprint, in favour of being the Gala Princess – although it’s one she regrets now![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”19644″ img_size=”medium” qode_css_animation=””][/vc_column][/vc_row]
